That’s right, Effective Web Solutions has been challenged! The community has extended the challenge and Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Monique Rice, has happily accepted.
The Ice Bucket Challenge
The Ice Bucket Challenge, the latest YouTube video to go viral, asks people to donate $100 to benefit the ALS Association or dump a bucket of ice over their head. Once complete, a person needs to then pass on the challenge to another someone else. Who will be next? Come to our open house and find out!
Matching Donations
Effective Web Solutions is asking the community to bring donations to our 5th Anniversary Party on Thursday, August 28. We will be hosting a get-together in our office for people to eat cake, meet our staff, and find out about what we do. The open house will take place from 1 pm to 4 pm and donations for the Ice Bucket Challenge will be accepted until 3:30. At that time Effective Web Solutions will match whatever donations have been collected. All donations will go the the ALS Association.
About ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, causes the degeneration of the cells in the brain and spinal cord. This leads to the loss of motor skills and paralysis in the latter stages. Donations received by the ALS Association are being used for research to find treatment and prevention for the disease as well as support for those who have it.
